Information and communication technology (ICT) is a rapidly growing field and is expected to play a major role in employment generation. The increasing demand for technology and the growth of the digital economy have created many job opportunities in fields such as software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, and digital marketing. Additionally, the widespread adoption of technology in various industries such as healthcare, education, and manufacturing is also driving job growth in these sectors. As technology continues to evolve and become more integrated into our daily lives, it is likely that the demand for ICT professionals will continue to increase. Economic growth is usually accompanied by an increase in the standard of living and a decrease in unemployment. It can be driven by factors such as technological innovation, increased productivity, and population growth. Policies such as investment in education and infrastructure, reduction of government regulation, and protection of property rights can also promote economic growth. That’s why this ICT sector could be a trump card for the Bangladeshi economy.
The President focused on the country's massive successes in various sectors in his 168-page speech on January 5th, the first day of the 11th Parliament's maiden session in 2023.
